If God is for us, who can be against us?
Since He did not spare even His own Son,
But gave Him up for us all,
Won't He also give us everything else?

God is on our side.
In our own strength, we fail. We fall short.
We make promises we can't keep.
We say words we don't mean.
We try so hard to be "perfect", but never reach perfection.
But we are not God.
God created this entire world.
He molded every single part of us beings.
He made the sunrise and the sunset.
He designed and fashioned each one of us.
He has control.
And even though He is powerful and Lord of the universe,
He still humbled Himself.
And sacrificed His one and only Son for me, and for you.
He gave Himself up on the cross, so that we, too, could share in His power and love.
He loves us that much.
So what makes us think that He isn't on our side?
When has God ever failed you or I before?
Even in the routine day-to-day, God is at work.
He is constant. He is loving. He is powerful.
He gives us strength to hold to our word.
He gives us courage to speak truth.
He gives us constant grace.
And He reminds us that He never asked for us to be perfect,
but to live a life loving and serving Him.
God is on our side.
